Dr. Kee Park spent the first 10 years of his career working as a general neurosurgeon building wealth in order to retire early. At the end of that period, he realized he didn’t want to just ride off into the sunset on a yacht, but decided to pursue global neurosurgery. He spent 10 years working in the field abroad and now is focusing more on research and policy at Harvard Medical School. He has authored more than a few papers on global neurosurgery.
Among other things, he helped design a statement and declaration for Global Neurosurgery. He is also active in the Korean American Medical Association as well as part of the National Committee on North Korea.
